Welcome to the Hot Seat! You’re in for an unforgettable journey that will put your taste buds to the test... Hot Ones 30th hot sauce lineup isn’t for the faint of heart, but it is for folks who are big on flavor.
New maker Down to Ferment kicks things off with a banger of a roasted shishito sauce, while fan-favorites like Good Heat, Black Eyed Susan and Hot N Saucy are pushing hot sauce boundaries with unique ingredients like eggplant, chickpeas, and cabbage (it sounds wild but trust us, it’s fire).
If you’ve been here before, you may have noticed an unfamiliar label 👀… Our new, all-natural take on the #8 sauce delivers a concentrated blast followed by a relentless second wave of lingering spice thanks to Carolina Reaper, Scorpion, and yellow super-hot chilis from pepper pioneer Smokin’ Ed Currie. Be VERY careful around the eyes!
Now that you know what you’re in for, it’s time to prep your wings, secure the full challenge pack, assemble your antidotes, and get ready to experience the wings of doom we all know and love (or at least frenemy). If you take the challenge, be sure to tag us @firstwefeast @hotones @heatonist with #hotoneschallenge for a shot at being featured in the spice community feed and remember to tune in for new Hot Ones episodes every Thursday from First We Feast!
